Extremely Poor Service and Product Quality – 2 October 2025

On the 2nd of October 2025, I visited your drive-thru after 21h00 thursday night,to buy two Quarter Pounder with Cheese meals (upsize). What should have been a quick, simple stop turned into one of the most disappointing fast-food experiences I’ve ever had.

From the moment I placed my order, the service was unprofessional. The lady on the intercom was clearly distracted — I could barely tell if she was talking to me or someone else. After several attempts, I finally managed to place my order. When I got to the payment window, the same person was unfriendly, showed no courtesy, and seemed completely uninterested in providing decent service.

At the pick-up window, things got even worse. I was casually told that there were no cupholders available. I was driving alone and had to balance two large drinks in one hand while driving — a completely unsafe and unacceptable situation.

When I got home and opened my food, I was shocked. The burgers were missing key ingredients — no gherkins, no onions, no sauce — just a dry bun, a slice of cheese, a patty, and some ketchup. For the price charged, this is disgraceful. What I received in no way matched what is advertised.

This is not just poor service — it’s false advertising and a total lack of quality control. I paid full price for something that looked and tasted incomplete. If I wanted a dry burger, I could’ve made it at home for a fraction of the cost.

I expect this complaint to be investigated and addressed urgently. Customers deserve better than this level of carelessness and...

I had a delightful experience at McDonald's! The seating area was spacious, easily accommodating more than 100 customers, and the kids' play section was a great addition.

Ordering was a breeze, and I appreciated the flexibility to customize my order with a hash brown outside of the usual breakfast hours. The service was prompt, on par with other McDonald's locations.

Now, onto the food: the coffee was quite good, earning a 4 out of 5 rating. The buns were top-notch, receiving a perfect 5 out of 5. The only minor drawback was the chips portion, which I would rate as a 3 out of 5.

Overall, the presentation was impressive, receiving a solid 4 out of 5 rating.

I did notice that the branch appeared to be understaffed, but I believe they are doing their best with the resources available. If they could add a few more staff members to handle the growing number of customers, this location could become a flagship McDonald's in the Westrand area.

I have been using this Mc Donalds for few years now. Always quick and fresh, staff always friendly. However I had an incident on Monday morning whereby I was nearly attacked by a begger inside your establishment. Your staff were helpful thank the lord but the Mr delivery delivery guy had to walk me to my car and the begger was in the drive through section picking up bricks to throw at my and another vehicle! I am laying charges against this begger.

You seem to have a major problem with beggers and they are harrasing woman and customers very very very badly. Inside the store and in the drive through it's terrible!

Even today again I witnessed another begger harrasing an old lady and people in the drive thru and nothing is being done about it?
