Sunnypark Fun Park Langebaan — Attraction in Saldanha Bay Local Municipality

Dirty Park. We were there late on 18 Dec 2024 and were probably the last to use the toilets. We went back on 19 Dec 2024 at 13h00 and the toilets had the same dirt - they were not cleaned at all - only the toilet paper was replaced. I had thought on 18 Dec 2024 that perhaps the dirt was from traffic. The reason I know is that the same sanitary strips were on the floor of the toilet I used, but it was generally dirty. The toilets also do not have proper sanitary bins for feminine hygiene waste. They are just dustbins. I reported the dirty toilets to Devon at the desk who said he would take it up. There was no change. I also checked the baby stand in the baby change room. It is so dusty. On both days I never saw anyone cleaning in our near the toilets or even the adult change room. We sat near the toilets and the change room, so we know. On the afternoon of 19 Dec 2024, there was no paper in the last toilet.

There was generally a lack of cleaning staff on duty. There were easily more than a 200 people there and many children. With so many visitors and children running to the toilets with dripping water, there should be staff on duty cleaning by the hour at least. Instead there is a sign to say you must watch out as the floors may be wet and slippery, but no-one is trying to mop to contain or maintain this. Disappointing and a huge...

I was here 3 years ago and i left a review that it was nice and clean, But now recently, i was there last weekend and the water and pools are very dirty. I was actually grossed out that i got out of the pool. It looks dirty it feels dirty. It is very over priced for dirty pools, The bathrooms are pathetic as well, Very dirty, Cobwebs, Totally not what you want when you go to the loo. The go-cart facility is poor, with broken machinery. But we paid extra for this activity. The Super Tube slide is not managed, and all times that i went there with my kid, There was noone on top regulating the kids going down with regular internvals, so they all land up on top of each other when they sliding down, its very dangerous that i actually told my daughter she is not allowed on there. The staff doesnt want to be there, you can see it on there face and the way they talk to you, very whatever...

The place is very nice and enjoyable.. however the attendance of staff is what made me give 2 Stars! The way the one at the small pool and slide spoke to my Son and told him to get out of the pool all because He the staff member was not at his post and my son went to early on the slide! I gave him a talking to and all he said was he spoke to him a few times to not go early..

I told him that is exactly what your job is! If we only had adults here who knows to follow the rules You Would Not Have A JoB!! There is children that needs guidance on these things! That's why we pay to come to these places and without paying customers there will be no JOB aswell!! My son enjoyed his day very much uptil this Point!
