We had a terribly disgusting experience at this restaurant even before we could go in. We phoned in the morning to confirm the time of opening for dinner and were told 17.00 when we got there @ 17.00 we witnessed a male who was supposedly the owner/manager yelling at the delivery guy outside the restaurant. We were with a big group of 15 guests and chose to ignore the owners bad mouthing but soon after that the owner came up to us and very rudely and aggressively told us that they wont open before 17.30 as the chef is still at home and must still prepare the kitchen. We were willing to wait patiently but he never gave us a chance and said we must leave without even offering us to wait and be seated Even though the board said it opened @ 17.00 We often eat @ restaurants and this was my worst experience ever and I was embarrassed un front of my guests and took my business elsewhere. I wouldn't ever recommended this restaurant to anyone thanks to the shocking Experience we had with the...
Read moreMy daughter chooses to go here for her birthday each year....she loves Indian food, and again we were not disappointed. It was a busy Friday night but we were shown to our table promptly, and drinks orders were placed and received quickly too. Been a bit of an update in decor since our last visit. Food took longer than we liked...about an hour...but it was worthwhile. We had all ordered something different to suit the "heat" requirements and in each case it was perfect, very flavourful, spicy, hot - a festival of flavours you could say. Coupled with basmati rice, freshly baked naan bread and cooling raita, we enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Portions are not large and if one is not a big eater, one could feel a little cheated (balancing price and expectations) were it not for the depth of flavour and deliciousness! We...
Read moreLove! Love! Love! The food at Moksh and the service is excellent. A true reflection of Indian Cuisine, spices and flavour. Mr Singh is friendly and helpful and explains the dishes clearly. You absolutely have to try the home made traditional Kulfi (Ice-cream). We can highly recommend the chicken tikka masala. The Tandoori dishes are delectable and the meat is cooked to tender perfection. For those who enjoy spice without the burn the mild option is delicious and for those who do enjoy a bit of burn there are medium and hot options. Try the Peshawari Naan as an alternative to the usual Butter or Narlic naans, its sweet and compliments the spicier dishes well. The decor is authentic with a very relaxed atmosphere and there is secure parking. Definitely one of our favourite restaurants to visit again and again in...
