Bootlegger XS Eikestad — Restaurant in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

I visited this branch often but the last three times just made me realize to never waist my money or time there again. The service is horrible, one lady in particular throws a lot of attitude towards the people who doesn’t know how this particular branch operates. I witnessed her being very rude when someone asked for a menu after the tv screens with the menu items were not operating once, I felt so sorry for the two girls ordering, she made them feel so belittled.

I ordered a coffee freezo on one occasion, I received a chai freezo 3 times before I received my coffee freezo🫠. And today was just the final straw. My husband and I once again ordered coffee freezos. It was SO bland, it tasted liked crushed ice and milk. The apparent double roasted chocolate cake tasted old and dry, there cakes are definitely not freshly made for the day. And this all to pay almost R200. Never again! Rather grab a lekker quality coffee from the Woolies around the corner. They aren’t as disappointing as this...

I've never seen a place where every customer was collectively upset with one person. It took my girlfriend and I forever to get our food (which is pre-made and only has to be warmed up). Eventually, after ages my girlfriends food arrived with no cutlery, and mine was nowhere to be found. Her food was cold, and when we asked for it to be warmed up we got attitude, the food then just laid on the counter for ages, when we went to go ask for our food, half on the customer's orders were just sitting there until it was cold, and the batista had to remake most of the drinks and eventually came to bring it out himself. After all this I eventually got my sandwich which seemed to be re-roasted to the point where it was boarderline a rusk. My girlfriend and I occasionally go to this Bootleggers and we love the food, but this is not the first time we had to deal with this service. Just want to say the best service I received My friend and I went for a coffee and something light to eat so the gentleman with the tattoo in his neck jaden told us about this app the bootlegger app and we got a free coffee he even told us to upgrade the size of the coffee we had a little trouble with my phone's camera to scan the code but the lady helped us I think she's the manager..never the less very friendly people. coffee and food 100% highly recommend bootlegger Eikestad as a peaceful and friendly place to sit and work aswell as spending time with family...
