We did the Southern Route on a Sunday in June with Ashten. We visited a couple of wineries (Neethlingshof, Spier and Kleine Zalze) and the brandy distillery Van Ryn. Our favourite winery was Kleine Zalze although they were all lovely. I had some MCC's to taste and my husband did the wine tastings, all were delicious and the winery staff very knowledgeable. The highlight of the day, though, was meeting Ashten. He was a great guide, very friendly and made sure we were having a great day. He truly is an asset to the company! I must also mention Veronika who was our main point of contact. She was very friendly and prompt with messaging, even after business hours. Would highly recommend a tour with Vine Hoppers and, if possible, be sure to ask for Ashten!

Marshal picked us up from the hotel as planned and was an excellent guide, great humour and knowledge of the farms. Without his experience we would have missed the incredible location and views from Delheim. All the farms very different but all excellent. We visited four and this was a little too much in one day, especially as we did tastings at each

Four of us did the Southern Route on a lovely July day. Marchall was our driver and he was fantastic! Informative and funny with an excellent ease about him. We only did two wineries (knowing our tolerance level) and Marchell was super accommodating. He even held our purchases from the first vineyard so we would not have to carry it to our second destination. This is a wonderful way to visit the many wineries in Stellenbosch.

Four of us did the Southern Route on a lovely July day. Marchall was our driver and he was fantastic! Informative and funny with an excellent ease about him. We only did two wineries (knowing our tolerance level) and Marchell was super accommodating. He even held our purchases from the first vineyard so we would not have to carry it to our second destination. This is a wonderful way to visit the many wineries in Stellenbosch.

We couldn't have been more pleased! We had a delightful time and chose the two-day pass. Veronika in the office couldn't have been more helpful. Marschall was an excellent driver and guide, helping us to choose our own adventure. He also made some quick adjustments for us at the last minute to make our time more enjoyable. It's important to understand this service is more like a shared cab. So I recommend you do your research on the wineries to know which venues you wish to visit, which tasting options to try, and where you wish to dine. We traveled as a couple and on both days and enjoyed meeting new people. I would highly recommend the Vine...

We had a fantastic experience with Vinehopper. We were picked up right on time, and they were even flexible enough to adjust our pick-up time by two hours at the last minute. The drivers were very friendly, and the selection of wineries was excellent. Since we went on a Saturday, we chose the Southern Route, which included some outstanding wineries—overall, very well organized.

Of course, the wines, food, and service at each winery are not directly controlled by the tour provider, but we had a wonderful experience in each location. Highly recommend this tour for a well-curated and enjoyable day in...
