I am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with the full nachos I recently (28 August 2024) purchased from your esteemed restaurant, Rocomamas in Stellenbosch Eikestad Mall. As a regular customer, it pains me to bring forth this complaint, but I believe it is crucial to maintain the high standards that your restaurant promises.
First and foremost, the portion size of the full nachos was extremely underwhelming. When ordering a "full nachos," I expected to receive a substantial serving that would provide value for my money. However, what I received was a meager portion that failed to meet even my basic expectations. I have been a loyal customer of Rocomamas because I have always perceived it as a place where quality and quantity go hand in hand. Unfortunately, this experience shattered that perception entirely.
Furthermore, the quality of the nachos was far from satisfactory. It was evident that the salsa provided with the dish was not fresh at all; rather, it tasted like it had been sitting for a few days. As a customer who values the freshness and taste of the food I consume, this was a major letdown. I expected a vibrant and flavorful salsa that would complement the nachos perfectly. However, it seemed like I was served a product that had lost its essence through aging.
Additionally, the so-called guacamole or avocado that was spread over the nachos was far from being up to par with the standards of a professional restaurant like Rocomamas. It lacked the freshness and vibrancy that are typical of avocado, despite the fact that it can be easily achieved by adding a sprinkle of lemon juice to prevent discoloration. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and the unwillingness to prioritize customer satisfaction and the overall culinary experience.
I hope you can understand my frustration as a loyal customer who has come to expect excellence from Rocomamas. It is disheartening to witness a decline in quality and a departure from the principles that initially attracted me to your establishment. I strongly urge you to address these issues promptly and take the necessary steps to rectify them.
In light of my disappointing experience, I kindly request a refund or a voucher that would restore my faith in Rocomamas and offer me the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling and satisfying meal in the future. I sincerely hope that my concerns are acknowledged and that proper measures are taken to ensure that such occurrences are avoided in the future.

Also found leftover cheese from another dish in our chips basket. When the issues were brought to the attention of the manager (or whoever was in charge for the evening )he acknowledged our claims but offered no way of how it can be resolved or how to ease the uncomfortable experience we had and merely said he will investigate our claims.
