Steers — Restaurant in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

Store delivered only half of order. Doesn't answer calls . Called H/O and they promised to get hold of them. Probably same result...no answer. 40 min later after reporting and store Probably closing....half of family have supper. Chips also not Steers standard...terrible. Old wrinkle chips. Tried to call again 20:40. Call centre divert. 2 options like before. Options 1 new orders and 2 for other queries. Like before chosen 2 and after a while got "sorry high volumes and cannot assist" after holding on for a while . An hour ago tried options 1 and o boy had a quick reaction. So store closed now. Very poor service, sure that you double check your orders, as they can't do their jobs

I went there placed a simple order of a medium chips and a chicken snack burger meal, with no garnish and a extra slice of cheese. The cashier confirmed it, as did my slip. I heard her confirm it to the cook. I was the only customer and waited for about 8-10 min for my order. I thanked her and headed to the office.

Now at lunch I find what looks like 2 small chips and a chicken snack burger with a tiny patty and garnish, but no cheese added. Note I am allergic to tomato, so this order is a problem. How can they mess up a simple order when they only had one customer to serve?!

Truely pathetic attention to detail, so...

The steers is not bad, however they need to have a bit more consistency. Some times the burgers are bad and the staff is bad. Sometimes the staff is friendly and quick and the burgers are bad. Sometimes the burgers and chips are great and the staff is so useless they might as well not work there. For some reason the sauces are always finished in the front of house (this has happend 10 times now) and then the staff bring squeeze bottles from begind the counter. Now I don't mind that, what I do mind is if they insist on putting on the sauce and throwing half a bottle of peri peri over my chips if I ask for a few drop. The purpose of the sauce dispenser is so that I have a choice...
