The Hillbrow of Durban! Everything from restaurants, fast food outlets including my favorite drive through KFC, that after long walks around town, this is a relaxing place to enjoy a nice cold coke!
ICS another favorite hangout during the time I had no internet, this was the place to spend free time surfing the net! My I pad comes from here, a few BLUETOOTH speakers to add and the ideal place for all your I pad needs, audio and I phone needs and a friendly staff to add!
Ikes second hand bookshop is another favorite place but have not been here of late but ideal for those treasures of the books you cannot buy anymore and a nice mix of Africana books along with all the various subjects in a nice atmosphere!
But lately, all the interest is focused on the new 10 storey development, ā262 on Florida ā, corner Florida and Lambert roads, has just removed itās crane this Saturday morning and very soon, a new unique experience awaits this busy area!
AnUmhlanga Arch type of place, this new development will feature luxurious apartments, rooftop pool, new retail outlets including the eagerly awaiting first ever Pick and Pay opening soon!

However the infrastructure, terrible car nightmare beggars and litter amongst other Annoying problems, does not get 5 stars from me!
