Stellski Café & Coffee — Restaurant in Woodstock

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant in a long time. Firstly, when we came in, the waitress ignored us completely until I had to go to the counter and stand there with my wife for and entire 2 minutes while we stood there and stared awkwardly at the waitress before she decided to acknowledge us: only for her to tell us we can sit wherever we wanted to. We then sat for almost 10 minutes before I decided to get up, go to the counter, and get my own menus. While deciding what to order, one of the other customers spotted a rat and screamed, while other staff members just laughed it off. She then decided to take her things and sit outside instead. We then ordered from a different waitress, and when our food arrived, she told us that avocado is off but "is it still okay?". Mind you, but the avocado that she just informed us about, was already on my wife's bagel. We waited long enough and my wife said "it was fine" because we didn't know how long we were going to wait for another bagel. All our food arrived and we tried to get her attention (or any of the other staff members) because we had no salt and pepper at our table. I decided to go to the counter AGAIN and the barista told me I can grab my own salt and pepper from the front counter. My burger I ordered (which was the most expensive burger on the menu) was very bland and unappetising. The only way how I got some flavor from my burger, was by adding Tabasco sauce to it. When we were done I got charged for the avocado that was off and my bill amounted to nearly R450 for the bad service I've experienced. The worst experience I have had at a restaurant to date and I WILL NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO GO SUPPORT THE BRANCH...

Went to today to do some work while my parents are visiting and didn’t have a great experience. We were asked to move to a table away from the wall because someone was coming to fix the aircon so we did. I continued to work and was asked rudely by the worker on the aircon to move over so I did. Without warning they then proceed to drill in the wall. We and other people were inside, where we had been advised to sit yet the drilling was extremely loud and the kid OUTSIDE was covering their ears because of how intense it was. It is dangerous for anyone to be this close to drilling without protective gear and especially those who wear hearing devices or noise cancelling earphones because of the pitch.
