Chanced upon this restaurant. Heard it is old and famous and decided to give it a try. Was kind of lost at first searching for the place with the address, the entrance was quite small I actually walked past it without noticing it. Then I mistook it for some karaoke place until I started to see people walking in and I followed. Located at basement 1, I didnt expect such a small entrance would lead to a pretty decent sized restaurant and there were quite a lot of people there still despite me there eating at odd hours. Decided to go for the recommended one (Wandang Regular Meal) without the rice and noodles, but the set still came with 2 seaweed riceballs. The soup is pretty good I must say, the broth is very light but yet the anchovy taste is so flavourful. I am not really an anchovy person but I enjoyed the soup a lot, and the combination of the soup with the bean sprouts went very well. Price of the meal was also quite decent and would recommend to try for a different change. Korean or Chinese? Looks more Chinese to me though. Wanted to give 3 stars but I think it would be more on the 3 side so eventually gave it a 4. Would probably fit...

It is old mandu soup restaurant. Which has almost 80 years of history. I ordered newly added menu Saewoo wandang(Shrimp mandu noodle soup). I takes little bit longer than I thought, but it was okay I can watch how to made their wandang(mandu) while waiting. My menu is quite simple, not heavy but enough. I asked staff what ingredient of noodle, but they made only wheat flour. Anyway it was perfect simple...

Fast and friendly customer service. I love the food. I’m never a huge fan of soup dishes but this one honestly took me by surprise in a positive way. The Wan-dung dish was so flavoursome, I barely needed seasoning. The noodles were so soft and melted in my mouth. I enjoyed that there was pork filling in each bite. I’d...
