Deungdae Gui Grilled Eel — Restaurant in Busan

Travel companion saw this place being featured on Tiktok thus wanted to try and we were so glad we did! Everything (scallops, eel) were fresh, ramen tasted so good, the flying fish roe rice is the best rice I’ve eaten! Boss was super nice, he helped with the grilling, and even gave us free pancake and mussels. Bill came up to 20,000KRW per pax, honestly a very good deal - grilled eel is expensive and if you were to eat it elsewhere, stores would ask that you order 1 eel per pax. Eel is delicious but I’m saving my stomach for more Busan seafood. This place allows you to order different dishes to share/savour. Bonus points!...

Whilst in Busan, enjoy good and cheap seafood. We found this place at Cheongsapo where they serve grilled eel! Ordered the set for 4 and total cost was 79000 won. Besides the eel (fresh and still twitching), there was also a plate of grilled shrimps, a chives pancake and a pot of mussels.

Owner taught us in broken English how to grill the eel. A really joker, he came over and arranged two shrimps in the shape of a heart! LOL!

The restaurant sported a good view of the sea. Nothing beats having a meal at the seaside and enjoying...

We just hopped off of the Sky Capsules and found this tiny restaurant with ocean front views. They have English menus, and it was the perfect place to try charcoal grilled Eel for the first time! The place was empty when we (just around the time most places close down after lunch), but it was still open! The owner helped us grill the Eel right on the table, and the fish was so fresh!
