Shinchang Toast is old school with a fantastic taste. Right from the entrance, where the owner toasts the bread with eggs, ham, vegetables and sauces with a genuine smile on his face, you are treated to a welcome that feels personable and heartfelt. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable, using whatever words he can in English or Chinese or Japanese depending on who the customer is. The interior of the small restaurant is really small, but that's what makes it cozy. Lining the walls are decorative paper that has been scribbled on by many a customer, leaving their comments and well-wishes there for posterity. Taste and ambiance is the key to the success of this restaurant. The ham and cheese toast is fantastic, and the kiwi juice is...

This small shop tucked away in a side street of the market was my go to place for breakfast every morning during my stay in Busan. Loved everything about it! His simple toast, banana and kiwi fruit juice and even his coffee (sweetened by carnation milk) were delicious and enough to start the day off and it was not expensive at all! The owner doesn't speak English but can understand you. He was warm, inviting and very friendly. The love from other travelers was felt in the sit down area where people have signed the walls...and it was pretty much covered all over. I truly loved this place! Go here for a truly authentic Korean experience and support small local...

The best experience for breakfast. A mom and pop pleasant and welcoming small nook of a shop. Fresh mad well balanced Korean breakfast sandwiches. The special is the best sandwich. The thing that surprised me was the delicious freshly made juice for cheap. Wow! Shop is small but meals go fast.

Also this couple is the nicest and most welcoming. The Mrs. Of the shop was especially kind to our toddler, doting welcoming love and praise and making him and our family feel so much love in this place. Can’t help recommending. A must stop. We legit went every morning of the three days for breakfast here, it was that good and the...

A small and busy place with constant flow of customers. The walls are covered in pictures of/with customers over the years and scribbled with customers leaving their mark. They offer a variety of juices and beverages too. The special toast consists of 2 slices of ham, fried egg, cheese and some lettuce with ketchup (and mayo I think). Tastes pretty good! We also got a bowl of their soybean porridge (콩국), it's served with some small fried dough which made it savoury. There's sugar and salt available if you wish to adjust your soybean to your taste. Overall, a nice, simple and filling breakfast!
