Oh my was this a great restaurant! I'm so glad we decided to come in here to eat. The meat was perfect, and very plentiful. There were so many side dishes and that was a plus, I was not expecting crab as one of them...bonus! The soup was delicious. The staff was also amazing and so friendly. There are people here that speak English too and very friendly. We had such a great experience. Everyone from those working to those eating here were so kind and inviting. This is such an inviting, intimate, exquisite dining experience. The food is superb. And the tea at the end is to die for!!! Oh my!!!

Mayor of Seomun and โ€˜Kookil Ribsโ€™ The Seomun Market was formed from the middle of Joseon Dynasty and was one of the three major marketplaces in the Joseon Dynasty along with Pyongyang and Ganggyeongjang. Originally, it was a small field located outside the north gate of Daegu-eupseong. However, as the necessity of procurement of materials increased due to the Imjin War and the Refining of the Refinery, the field developed greatly. Today, Seomun Market is a representative traditional market in Daegu, famous for textile products such as sandals and cloths and various foods. Galbi Myeongga, a Korean beef rib that has been insisting on first-class Korean beef for 40 years, is not far from Seomun Market. Like the Seomun Market, a traditional market representative of Daegu, this place attracts tourists from all over the country with meat flavors representing Daegu. The open chicken, seen inside, shows clean hygiene without any change. The hearty side dishes enhance the quality, and the beef, cooked slightly over charcoal, exudes juicy juice from the mouth. It is delicious to eat it with salt, but you can enjoy it more deliciously by dipping it in a special sauce of Korea. Be sure to try the miso stew, which is made more and more using traditional miso.

And the tea at the end is to die...
