Yang’s Jeju Abalone Kalguksu Main Branch 양씨네 제주전복칼국수 본점 — Restaurant in Jeju

Delicious! Friendly! Welcoming! Amazing! Our friend arrived in Jeju a few days before us and found this little gem in a side street. Even before we arrived, she had visited twice in 4 days! The owners are a cute couple, who recognised her and was so friendly, kind and full of smiles. It is without saying that the food is delicious and comforting, and got us to go again too ! (Ergo, my friend went 4 times!l)

My favourite was the abalone rice porridge! Warming, and full of abalone infused flavours. The fried abalone is tender inside with a nice crisp light breadcrumb coating. We got the grilled abalone during our second visit, and they were just as juicy and tender!

The gentleman owner gave us finger hearts (and complimentary friend abalone) on our last day to convey his gratitude as there was a language barrier. As the other reviews noted, he is very proud of his son and showed us a few music shows and clips of his kpop "baby" (as he called him!)

All in all, highly recommend this restaurant for its warming food and warm service and atmosphere! Great memories and great experience! Lots of love from...

Okay guys i normally never write reviews, but this is the BEST ABALONE PORRIDGE OUT THERE and everyone needs to try + i feel like the owners deserve more for how sweet they are. The food was so good, the owners are so welcoming and sweet despite the language barrier. I went a little after lunch time, alone, while they were eating and got abalone porridge. The side dishes are all self serve but they still brought some to me personally. After paying, on the way one of the owners pointed out they had free refreshments (service) which was a variety of coffee, slushies etc. How good!

Hands down, the best abalone restaurant I’ve ever been to! The quality of the food was absolutely top-tier—every bite of abalone was fresh, tender, and bursting with flavor.

What made the experience even more special was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Their warmth and hospitality took the entire dining experience to another level. They even gave us their delicious fish soup to try 🥰

If you’re a fan of abalone this place is a MUST try this place. We will definitely be coming back!
