The atmosphere of the café is very calming and cozy, perfect for a relaxing start to the day. The coffee and green tea we ordered were decent. We arrived early in the morning, and it was just us, so it felt peaceful.

However, our experience with the service was disappointing. The person at the cashier greeted us politely in Korean, but when we responded in English, she rolled her eyes and her attitude changed noticeably. After that, the treatment we received felt cold and unfriendly. Shortly after, a local customer came in, and the difference in how she interacted with them was very obvious—much more welcoming and warm.

The entrance of this cafe is easy to miss. You go through a small door which almost feels like an back alley overgrown with plants, but the stone path gives you a clue that the plants aren’t here by chance. You follow the stone path into a quaint little cafe of perhaps ten tables, with each one meticulously set up for a window plant view or ornaments of sorts. Looking at the menu and the display at the counter, you can tell that this place has every detail so intricately planned by the owner. The owner was very kind and friendly, and spoke English. This is one of the more surreal cafe experiences I have ever had. Let me explain, four of us are going inside to enjoy drinks and snacks. We order 2 drinks, and 2 deserts. I do not like coffee, and I’m there to accompany my friends. We choose a table for four, and as I sat down I’m quickly told I am not allowed to stay there because I didn’t order something to drink. This means I am kicked out, while my friends are still inside and occupying a table for four.
