This is the symbol of ruling Jekumok during the Jonseon Dynasty but also an important site of the history of Jeju. The place was used as a complex of major administrative buildings since Tamna Kingdom era. The original facilities were destroyed and demolished during the Japanese colonial period. Since 1991, they have made 4 excavation projects and the buildings reconstructed in 2002 and 2006. Nowadays, it shows how communication between people and government worked centuries ago.
