Manchu Cafe (만추 카페) — Restaurant in Jeonju-si

Very nice place. The dessert was even better than we expected. You can see on the pictures that it looks incredible, well, it’s tastes even better. We got the pistachio/strawberry taste. The stringy/pasta like stuff is a light tasty fondant-like paste, inside there is delicious refreshing ice cream with a thin layer of light and fluffy cake. Every element was balanced perfectly, which is very hard for a sweet dessert like this. We were not even that hungry or craving something sweet, but still finished the dessert completely while even craving for more! While visiting one of my favourite cities in JeonJu, South Korea, I stumbled across Manchu Cafe in the heart of the Hanok village area!! First thing I noticed as I was walking in, was its interior. It was giving nature vibes, I felt like I was outdoors which was therapeutic in a way. Hearing the water sounds as I’m enjoying my order☕️🥰😌 was a perfect way to spend my day!!

I ordered the Pistachio Bingsu(Shaved Ice) dessert and it was just what I needed on this hot summer afternoon. If you’re a pistachio lover like I am, highly recommend getting this!!

Super cute autumn fox themed cafe! Fluffy dried grass, large koi pond water feature, autumn scenes on the compound screens behind the counter. Dessert menu comprises variations of MontBlanc (chestnut and cream on a cake base) - We went with chestnut ice cream montblanc but they also had pistachio strawberry and earl grey. Drinks and desserts were generously sized and not too sweet - what we thought was honeycomb was actually a crunchy biscuit. Standard prices for a cafe. They are open late with alcoholic drinks too.
