The spicy beef brisket pho broth tastes more like bun bo hue broth. The regular beef brisket broth was more acidic and less savory. The egg rolls were more like imperial rolls in appearance and lacked something savory like pork, pork and shrimp, or shrimp. The nuoc cham that goes with the egg rolls needed more fish sauce, garlic, and a hint of sugar in order to reach banging levels of flavor. The typical side fixings of thai basil/mint, jalapeno, Viet coriander/perilla were all absent. Bean sprouts and a lemon wedge were pre-served in your bowl instead of on the side for individual preferences. If you're used to how pho is done by the Vietnamese community in California, you should ask to have Seogwipho place the bean sprouts and the lemon wedge on the side. If I'm craving authentic Vietnamese pho while travelling to South Korea next time, I'll have to practice more patience and wait until I get back to California. However, the fantastic customer service and cozy decor of the restaurant made us feel very welcomed. The food quality was high but I wouldn't come back expecting traditional Vietnamese-style pho.

I had lunch at Seogwipho today and it was simply unforgettable. The beef tom yum pho was bursting with flavor – rich, aromatic, and comforting like a bowl of wellness. The beef rice soup was hearty yet clean, leaving me perfectly satisfied. To top it off, I paired it with an ice-cold Tiger draft beer, and the combo was just flawless! 🍺 Normally, my husband and I come here in the evenings – I enjoy wine while he goes for Tiger draft – but having a “day beer” with pho today felt absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, every dish is made with care, and it truly feels more like a place of healing than just a restaurant. If you’re in Seogwipo or visiting Jeju, this spot is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Wow wow wow! What a gem. This beautiful restaurant, located in easy walking distance from the Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market has been one of the best meals and experience I’ve had in Korea. The pho was unbelievable! Refreshing and delicious. Not only that, the hospitality and energy of the restaurant was immaculate. Good music on rotation playing across the speakers with music videos to match stylishly displayed via a projector. I can tell a lot of love has been put into this place and is put into the food they prepare - I could taste and see. This is a must recommend for anyone in the area, trust me! One I won’t forget, thank you very much. 아주 잘 먹었습니다!
