산호 — Restaurant in Seoul

It is a Korean style Izakaya specializing in seasonal cuisine matching well for drinking. It has been awarded one blue ribbon from #BlueRibbonSurvey since year 2014 continously to year 2025.

There is a full coursed menu (called Omakase) at 95K KRW which seems to have good configuration from seafood, fried dish to beef and soup.. Prices also look moderate if you want to try many signature dishes.

Shrimp Sashimi (독도새우회, 78K) means 3 shrimps caught near by Dokdo Island, i.e., southern rough shrimp (꽃새우), spiny lobster (대하새우) and humpback shrimp (도화새우), It is very fresh and good starter.. It is recommended to eat the raw body (sashimi style) of southern rough shrimp and the deep-fried heads (새우무리튀김, 10K) which is very savory.

Triploid Oyster (삼배체굴, 32K): It is genetically converted, so we can enjoy the fresh oyster even in summer. Normally it has good harmony with Mignonette sauce, but the Chef recommends it with Tabasco sauce with Lemon. The best is, he also recommends it in Korean style with red chili-pepper paste with vinegar. It is divine and would be much better also with the sliced garlic and pepper for authentic Korean style.

Clam soup (맑은 백합탕, 37K): Its deep and savory taste is excellent!

신선한 제철 재료들을 전국 각지에서 수급하여 서울식 한식 요리를 안주로 제공하는 술집.

맛깔난 음식으로 소문이 자자한 장소로 술 좀 즐길 줄 아는 애주가들은 한 번씩은 방문 필수 코스.

오마카세식 맡김차림도 있지만 단품으로 여러 개 시켜 보는 걸 추천하며 다양한 안주를 즐기기 위해서는 최대한 많은 인원이 가서 주문하는 것이 바람직함.
