The best real Italian restaurant in Seoul!

After living in Seoul for over 10 years, I’ve honestly tired of the Korean-style "Italian" food that’s everywhere. So finding this place felt like a miracle. It’s near Noksapyeong subway station—easy to find. While the space is small, the cozy vibe and atmosphere instantly transport you to Italy.

The owner is a charming gentleman from Napoli, and clearly a true master in the kitchen. He was kind and charming. I only got to try 3 dishes (wish I had room for more!), but it was so insanely good I genuinely wanted to lick the sauce off the plate. Yes, it was that good. 🤌🤌🤌

There are vegetarian options, and we even had a special off-menu pizza. But my biggest recommendation is to try the tomato lemon gnocchi. It’s unforgettable 😌

We ended the meal with a classic tiramisu, freshly made with real coffee and silky cream—just the way it should be.👌 But there were more different desserts, may be next time I will order only the desserts 😆

One of the best places to taste the real Italian cuisine in Seoul. The restaurant is located in Itaewon and easy to reach with a bus or the subway. It’s very cosy and the personnel is kind and caring. Mr. Andrea and Chef Biagio will guide you through an amazing journey into the Italian food - but please don’t forget to check the wine list and order a Spritz with your antipasto!! It's not easy to find a restaurant in Seoul where you actually feel home and Osteria Anna offers the vibe. The food hands down on point and it feels very fresh, but most importantly, it's not superficially tailored to gourmet that takes out the home food feel out of it. While the location is conveniently located not too far from the main street, it doesn’t give you that noisy and busy environment where you just can't enjoy your food peacefully.
