Tucked away in a quiet corner of Euljiro’s bustling streets, this unassuming spot is a true hidden gem. Run by a sweet elderly couple who pour their heart into every bowl, their bone stew soup ("뼈해장국") is the ultimate comfort food—deep, rich, and incredibly nourishing. The broth is simmered to perfection, with fall-off-the-bone meat and a savory depth that feels like a hug from the inside. It’s the kind of meal that instantly soothes your soul, whether you’re battling a cold, a hangover, or just Seoul’s chilly weather. What makes this place special isn’t just the food (though it’s 5-star worthy), but the warmth of the couple who’ve likely been serving this recipe for decades. The tiny, no-frills space feels like stepping into a Korean grandma’s kitchen—authentic, heartfelt, and utterly delicious. Don’t miss it: This is the place for a hearty, homestyle meal that’ll keep you coming back. A must-try in Euljiro!

We came here for a simple late lunch, just after the main lunch rush was done, and we were pleasantly surprised with the amounts of food we got presented with. We opted for the main dish pork bone soup (뼈해장국) and stew (전골), which was full and rich flavored with pork backbone, perilla leaves, kimchi, and other seasoning. Along with all the fresh side dishes it was the perfect mix of rich and full flavour and fresh and cold, spicy ‘banchan’. After we finished the soup they made us a fried rice in the same pot, which gave the rice a nice after taste of the amazing soup. It was made with glutinous white rice and flakes of dried seaweed (김). Two whole meal as amazing and gave us a true taste of delicious and authentic Korean food. I highly recommend to eat here for the delicious food and the very friendly and welcoming staff.

This is a must visit if in the area. 10/10 spot that’s a bit tricky to find but once you follow the alleyways the place has a super warm and welcoming atmosphere. The aunties were very kind and generous so do sing out if you need instruction on how to eat the dish. We got a small kimchi hotpot which is probably best for three or more people. The two of us were too full to order the fried rice they make with the sauce at the end of the hotpot so do leave room for that if you can manage.
