The best place we found to buy dried fruits & seafood that our hotel recommended. The dried fish & squid (snacks) here are fresh, good quality & reasonable priced. Paid $10,000 KWN per 500 grams (small bag) for squid & fish each bag. Best to buy at stalls that are busy with local Korean people buying bc prices are usually better & more legit. Most vendors we found have same prices and one quoted much higher for squid like $10,000 KWN for 250 grams. Thank God we didnt buy from her so best to walk around, ask to sample the food and then buy after comparing prices. You can ask for small discount like $1000-2000 KWN off total. Most vendors are pretty nice & friendly. Not pushy, seem greedy or mean at all which we really like. I am not scared to get scammed or over...

Read moreVisited on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't crowded. There were shops selling sesame seeds and oil. The smell of sesame oil was very nice. I think they press it in the shops to get the oil.
A variety of dried seafood like fish, cuttlefish, octopus, shrimp and freeze dried fruits like strawberries, persimmons, vegetables are sold here. Fresh fruits are also sold but not as much as dried ones. Of course, seaweed is everywhere too.
A nice place to visit and get some good...
