We went there in November and stayed for 6 days. We arrived 35 mins earlier than the check in time but we were hoping that we could check in earlier. Upon consulting the hotel staff, the room was available but he said we would have to pay 10,000 won for checking in 35 mins earlier which we found it to be unbelievable and ridiculous, considering the room was ready already and the hotel lobby was filled with lots of impatient guests. As a 4-star hotel, they could had at least be more accommodating and not charge us anything for checking in 35 mins earlier while the room was already ready. In addition, whilst the location of the hotel is awesome (with 2 metro stations nearby) and the room was spacious, the room itself was very stuffy with poor ventilation. With the air-conditioner disabled, we tried to solve this issue by opening the Windows as suggested by the hotel staff. However, to our surprise, opening the windows did not improve the ventilation at all. We ended up having to resort to getting a fan from the hotel staff. As a 4-star hotel, we have higher expectation to the quality of the room which includes its ventilation and it is hard to believe that we need to resort to getting a fan to solve the issue.Lastly, it is a known fact that it was extremely hard to get a taxi if we are just hailing without booking it in Seoul. We were trying to get a taxi but since we are not able to use the local taxi hailing app, we tried to seek assistance from the hotel staff but got blanked out completely which left us feel very unhelpful and unprofessional, leaving a stain in our experience...
Read moreMy best advice - avoid it. It’s not a Best Western quality hotel and for sure not a four star. Premium room doesn’t have a full bath, the washing basin is in the entrance of the room - not in the bathroom! It feels like a hostel. There are no bathrobes but instead you have to use some strange shirts, no toiletries in the bathroom but the 80’s soap dispenser that looks disgusting. If it would be the new one I would praise them for eco / no waist approach but it is not the case. It's just not something that I don't feel comfortable using. The bathtub is for a half-person - more like a bidet. Oh! And there is no door in the wardrobe - just strange curtain. You also will not get any privacy when brushing your teeth - the only option to divide room from the hand washing station is with the curtain! Yep - you can have water everywhere in your room. The neighbourhood is just terrible. the hotel is located in front of the highway and its in the middle of bazaar for electricians and plumbers. Don't expect any cute caffess or quality food places. You can’t walk out and grab a coffee and have a stroll. It's not a hotel for vacation but for conference people. They are very strict on the check in policy - there is no possibility of checking in earlier and we had to sit and wait in the lobby for 10 min as we arrived at 14:50. If there were other hotels available I would escape from it in a heartbeat but now I understand why the hotel had rooms available. Nobody who knows Seoul would stay in this place. So please. Please do yourself a favour and do not stay here. You will be very...
Read moreWe were recommended this pleasant hotel for our almost 1 week stay in Seoul. Found the hotel to be well located, within walking distance to the famous Myeongdong area and very near to the Eujil-ro Sam Ga subway station that linked us to other destinations in and around Seoul!||Service was very friendly and efficient - (kudos to Mr Yoon at reception). Upon arrival we were assigned to a very comfortable family room, which was clean, spacious for all of 4 of us and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and they even prepared amenities for 4 people (including 4 robes, towels etc!) ||Our room cam with breakfast - a reasonable buffet spread and at the time of our stay we noticed that the hotel seemed to be very popular with groups of guests, either here on business or even leisure.Service attentive in breakfast area, but more robotic - not as approachable as the staff at reception. ||The hotel is located about an hour away from the airport (Incheon) and conveniently the airport bus services does stop right in front of the hotel as per a pre-set schedule. This is displayed at the lobby and also at the reception. ||The hotel is located in along a busy street lined with many businesses (noticeable lighting shops) but there are also convenient stores (7-eleven) very nearby and also a few eateries in case you get peckish. ||We found the hotel to be very convenient and have already made wishful plans that if we return for another visit to Seoul, we would again choose this hotel as our base. ||Recommended for all both business and...
