Date: 13 Feb 2025 (Thu) Dine-in, 2 persons for Dinner The ox-bone soup is very #HOMEY and tastes especially good after a day of skiing and tiredness. We ordered the (1) original Ox Bone Soup, (2) original Ox Bone Soup with extra portion of beef slices, and (3) a bottle of Kelly beer. The soup is fresh, meaty and milky, which is so good to eat with rice. The kimchi prepared by the shop is also a must-try, especially the chives and the turnips kimchi. You can see the kimchi is so yummy and being consumed so fast as you enter the shop and see the big boxes containing the kimchi. The shop is also close to the exits of Gongdeok station (within 5-minutes walk). Will definitely revisit next time we return to Seoul.

Their soups are amazing, but their kimchi is even better. Their kimchi could be a little garlic-y for foreigners but this is what locals dig. I'd recommend getting there ahead of the lunch time (11:30 or earlier) to beat the crowd. They have limited parking available. Quick service and hence fast turnover.

#마포 #도화동 #마포양지설렁탕 "여전한 마포 3대 설렁탕 노포" 본인이 생각하는 마포의 3대 설렁탕집은 마포옥, 원조신촌설렁탕 그리고 이곳 마포양지설렁탕이다. 세 곳 모두 국물, 고기, 김치까지 매우 훌륭하다. 설렁탕 잘 만드는 노포들의 특징들을 고스란히 가지고 있는다. 마포옥의 단점은 제일 비싸고 예전에 포장 주문 시 아쉬움이 있어 본인은 손절. 원조신촌의 단점은 최근 인기가 너무 많아 웨이팅이 심하고 최근 시국과 관련해 서부지법 시위가 많아 그 웨이팅은 극악이다. 그러다보니 세 곳 중에 이제는 이곳 마포양지가 접근성과 맛에서 가장 편안하게 식사할 수 있는 곳이 되어버렸다. #설렁탕 이곳 국물은 맑음과 뽀얌의 중간 수준의 완벽한 설렁탕의 전형이다. 시원함과 구수함이 있고 고기국물 감칠맛이 잘 녹아들어있다. 고기의 양과 소면의 양이 좀 아쉽기는 하지만 국물로서는 최상이다. #내장수육 마포양지의 내장수육을 처음 주문해봤는데, 아름답게 플레이팅된 모습이 고급스럽다. 소의 제1위부터 4위까지 골고루 섞여있어 각 위의 식감과 맛의 특징을 느끼기에 좋다. 내장 특유의 향은 좀 있는편이라 아주 민감한 분들에게는 멋칫을 유도할 수는 있지만 소주파라면 소주 몇 병은 거뜬할 안주다. 내공은 사라지지 않는다. 원래 길 건너편에 진짜 노포의 모습으로 운영하시다 재개발로 인해 현재의 현대적 건물로 이사를 하셔서 뭔가 아쉬움이 있었는데 그 맛은 변함이 없이 안정적이다. 오래오래 마포의 3대장으로 남아주시길 바란다.

2020~2024 미슐렝가이드 빕 구르망 2019~2025 블루리본(2024 레드리본) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 시시때때로 재방문 정해놓지 않고 생각날때마다 가는집. 역시 맛있음. 입맛 까다롭고 MSG감별사 수준인 장모님 피셜로는 MSG가 들어가긴 했으나, 적은 양이 들어갔다 하심. 가게앞 주차장도 있고, 후식을 즐길 커피전문점도 있어 아주 좋음. 사람들이 잘 모르는게 있는게... 신김치는 달라고 요청해야 주심. 꼭 요청하시길 바람. 신김치 잘 안먹는 사람도 이집은 생김치보다 신김치를 더 먹음. 파김치가 이집의 핵심. 매일 담궈 가장 맛있을때 내놓는 파김치는 항상 좋을수밖에. 설렁탕 특먹어야함! 고기가 아쉽지 않게 들어있음! 특특특!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 마포에서 마포X과 더불어 오래되고 유명한 설렁탕집. 마포X과 달리 국물이 라이트하며 잡내없이 깔끔함. 결국 설렁탕이라는것이 라이트하면서 진하기는 어려움. 마포X에 비해 젊은사람들이 더 선호할 맛.

so delicious on a cold day. no fuss, quick service, no queue, quick turnover of customers. Beef is so tender and tasty, soup smooth and delicious as well. place itself frequented by locals. worth coming!!

Place is spacious with 2 floors of seating. Ordered the seolleongtang. Broth was light in flavor and soothing. Soup comes with both rice noodles and rice with kimchi and green onions on the side.
