A Twosome Place — Restaurant in Seoul

I had a very disappointing experience at this location of A Twosome Place inside Seoul Tower. While I’ve enjoyed this café chain at other branches, this visit was completely different.

Upon entering, we were greeted not with a smile but with hostility. The staff member on duty was extremely rude from the start. He made it very clear that he didn’t want us there, stating that he was working alone and suggesting we go to a different location instead. As a customer, it was incredibly frustrating to be turned away—not because the store was closed or out of service, but simply because the staff didn’t want to deal with more people.

There was no attempt to accommodate or serve us in any capacity, which is unacceptable in such a popular tourist spot. With the high foot traffic at Seoul Tower, you’d expect at least a baseline of customer service—unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

If you’re looking for a good coffee break during your visit to Namsan, I highly recommend avoiding this particular branch. There are plenty of other cafes nearby where the staff actually value...

Had green tea latte and the beer set at the top of Namsan tower on 7 May 2018 at around 6.45pm. Food was good, view was great. Service was terrible. Waitress on duty was impatient when serving us when we didn’t understand the ongoing promotion. Kept asking us what beer we wanted when she was actually asking about which set we wanted and was angry when we asked for further clarification. Ordered the jalapeno steak at first but changed to the chilli sausage as my mum doesn’t take beef. Receipt was in Korean so we were unable to clarify if we ordered the right thing.
