Cafe Comma & Yann Couvreur — Restaurant in Seoul

This is a café I used to visit a lot on weekdays! The vibe and food are both great — no complaints there. Just a heads-up: it gets really crowded during weekday afternoons, so finding a seat can be tough. Surprisingly, weekends are actually a bit quieter (maybe about one-third as busy), but even then, it’s still not easy to grab a seat.

If you end up sitting at one of the spots without a backrest, be prepared — your back might not be too happy after a while.

That said, the interior has a cozy, bookish feel that really sparks motivation. You’ll notice lots of people here are super focused and hardworking — it’s the kind of place that makes you want to open a book and get things...

A massive cafe + bookstore. The ground floor is well lit up and bright and feels like a big book hall. There is a huge ㄷ shaped desk where people can sit along to read or chat over a coffee.

In contrast, the dimly lit second floor has a lot more books, so if you are a book and coffee lover, I recommend you to check it out. A great place to spend a few hours reading and sipping.

This Comma seems to be a bit too popular though. All seats are pretty much all taken at all times, so make sure to get a seat first...

The place is spacious, and the interior is very well designed. The distance between tables is generous, so you're not disturbed by conversations at neighboring tables. Perhaps due to visiting on weekends, there were more individuals reading books or working on their computers rather than engaging in conversation, making it tranquil and peaceful.
