Quaint little old school cafe on the second floor of a row of shops along Euljiro. The aunty manning the shop was friendly although she didnโt speak much English. We had the hot ginger tea, iced ginger tea, iced omicha, hot sanghwa tea (traditional Korean herbal tonic drink with a cinnamony sweet taste topped with nuts , sesame seeds and an egg yolk for extra boost! The decor is noticeably old but very well maintained and very clean. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like you want to be back in the 80s. Order the traditional herbal egg tea. If you don't speak the language, just show a picture of it.

I unfortunately came during dinner time during the lunar year holiday and the place was consequently empty, but the owner is incredibly friendly and sweet. Don't let the raw egg yolk scare you and order the ์ํ์ฐจ (ssang hwa cha). Start with the yolk, end with the tea. Not too "traditional herb-y" as some Korean teas can get, just the right amount of nuts and sweetness.๐
