Pyeongnaeok — Restaurant in Seoul

Open since #1950 where should I start? The family that owns this restaurant and mine have a long history. Both of our families escaped #communist #oppression from #northkorea around the same time. Both our #families were #refugess trying to survive. My #grandparents ate here, mother ate here, and I eat here. They recently sold this place, getting the well deserved retirement they earned. Their chogyetang (cold noodle with chicken strips, vinegar flavored) and nangmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle) are probably the best one near Myeongdong. Typical Pyeongyang-styled nangmyeon flavor is something tourists can't get used to, but this one has strong beef broth flavor that probably most ones would prefer than other nangmyeon...

(North Korean Style Restaurant) Delicious noodles with cool chicken soup(Mul Nyeng-myun) or spicy noodles(Bi-bim Nyeng-myun) and free spicy chicken salad. I hate hot-spicy dishes but it's my style.
