내 직업상 동대문 종합시장을 자주 가는데 자가용을 이용할때도 많지만 대중교통도 종종 이용하는 편이다. 동대문종합시장 중앙 정류자에서 내리면 건너에 보이는 신진시장이라는 곳이 있다. 항상 지나칠때마다 한번 가서 구경해야지 한 전통시장이다. 사실 종로5가에 국내외 사람들에게 많이 알려진 광장시장이 있다. 나도 자주 방문했었고 그 분위기를 좋아한다. 요즘은 사람도 너무 많고 바가지요금을 받는곳도 있는거 같아 잘 안가게 되었는데 신진시장은 너무 다른곳이였다. 함남곱창이라는 곱창과 막창은 파는곳이다. 우리가 자주먹던 볶음 사실 막 찐으로 맛있다는 아니다 하지만 사장님내외분이 너무 친절하시고 야외에서 먹는것이 이모든걸 조화롭게 해준다. 이쪽으로 지나는 외국인들 많은데 참 소개해줄만한 곳이다.
