Hotcho — Restaurant in Seoul

Hotcho is a Sinsa branch of a Seoul Forest based Okonomiyaki restaurant. It’s arguably the best of its kind in Seoul.

Does it measure up to the best ones in Japan? No. No but it’s close to enough to be fair.

Besides Okonomiyaki they also offer yakisoba. You can choose additional toppings such as bonito, shrimp, pork belly and scallops.

Interestingly their gyoza is one of the best anywhere including Japan!...

I had a fantastic dining experience at hotcho. I tried the Hiroshima Okonomiyaki, which was filled with cabbage, meat, and seafood. The flavors were incredible, and the pancake was cooked to perfection. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, and they made sure I had everything I needed. 품질 & 맛 오코노미야끼, 야끼소바, 명란크림 돈페야끼 먹었습니다. 엄청 특별한 맛은 아니지만, 그래도 무난하게 맛있었습니다. 마요네즈, 칠리 소스 등 원하는 소스를 직접 뿌려먹을 수 있는데, 그런 부분이 조금 재미있었습니다.

서비스 & 친절 직원분들은 대부분 친절합니다. 다만 캐치테이블 어플을 통해 미리 예약하지 않으면, 최소 1시간 이상 기다려야하는 불편함이 있습니다.

위생 & 분위기 매장은 전반적으로 쾌적하고 깨끗했습니다. 바테이블에 앉아서 먹으면, 눈 앞에서 요리해줍니다. 일반 테이블에서 식사할 경우, 다 조리된 음식을 가져다주는 형태입니다. 매장 내 화장실이 있는 건 좋았습니다.

Quality & Taste I ate okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and tonpeyaki with cod roe cream. It didn't taste very special, but it was still delicious. You can directly sprinkle with the sauce you want, such as mayonnaise or chili sauce, and that part was a little fun.

Service & Kindness The staff are mostly friendly. However, if you do not make a reservation in advance through the Catch Table app, you will have to wait at least an hour.

Hygiene & Atmosphere The store was generally pleasant and clean. You sit at a bar table and eat, and the food is cooked right in front of your eyes. If you eat at a regular table, it is a form of bringing food that has been cooked. It was nice to have a restroom...
