I'm thankful that this restaurant allow takeaway as I only realised this trip that there are quite a few restaurant which doesn't allow it or at least they only allow uncooked version of their dish. However I'm never quite a fan of nengmyeon whichever version of it as I like noodles hot. But my mum having tried her first, preferred the bibim version and she actually liked the sauce alot. Mandu Rice Cake soup is normal be it the soup or the dumpling itself. I can't exactly differentiate the pure buckwheat from the other so if you are like me, just opt for the normal one as it's cheaper. Next time I visit, I’ll try the Pyongyang Naengmyeon with...

The place doesn’t have a super neat or stylish vibe, but what really stands out is the broth — it’s lighter on the beef flavor compared to other places, which makes it explode with flavor when you mix in some vinegar and mustard. So good!
Make sure you also try the boiled beef slices (suyuk) and dumplings — absolutely worth it. The beef is great, but don’t sleep on the pork — the female pork (sow) they use is super...
