Made in Chicago Pizza — Restaurant in Seoul

I was disappointed with my experience at Made in Chicago Pizza in Seoul. Despite their great reviews, I was unable to dine there. We arrived at 8:05 p.m., well before their listed closing time of 9 p.m., only to be turned away as they claimed to be closed. Another group outside confirmed they were also turned away just 10 minutes earlier. It's frustrating that they closed earlier than advertised, at around 7:45 p.m., preventing us from enjoying their food. The fact that they were already cleaning the kitchen before closing time is unacceptable. A disappointing experience overall.

This unexpected closure left me feeling let down and inconvenienced. It's important for restaurants to adhere to their posted hours to avoid disappointing their customers. Update: First RUDE and ARROGANT service experienced in 15+ yrs of visiting Korea. We arrived at 8.15pm and the guy at the door scowled 'closed! as if offended by our presence. I told him closing time is 9pm. He ignored us. I asked him twice through close door why your google profile says 9pm. Then he shouted at me again through half open door with surprising anger 'Last Order 8pm'! Its a pizza joint. Not michelin. Change the damn timing so people don't walk a long way to get yelled at by some frustrated rude guy for the restaurant's own mistake.

We had come last year twice and the pizzas were great (and left a reve review), so were excited to return. But this guy's behaviour was so unexpected (for Korea!) that I will not return and warn others not to give him their business when so many other places often decent to excellent customer attitude.

Heard it was an awesome restaurant and decided to check it out. Had the basic combination pizza and a cold beer. It was just okay, nothing special, just your average pizza taste. It's a place to go when you're craving pizza, but nothing extraordinary.

2.visit Had pizza for lunch today! Opted for a different basic pizza compared to the combination pizza I had last time. The taste was way better than the combination one. However, the hygiene was a bit questionable; saw someone with gloves on smoking and picking up a dropped knife. Seems like they lack a bit in hygiene awareness.
