Mutan, located near Apgujeong Station, is a Chinese restaurant famous for its Steak Truffle Jjajangmyeon and Macaron Mianbaoxia. I had Macaron Mianbaoxia, Gochu Yuringi, Pork Tangsuyuk, and Steak Truffle Jjajangmyeon.
First of all, Mianbaoxia is massive in size and the combination of moist minced shrimp meat and crispy white bread is very good and delicious. Cheongyang pepper mayo, truffle mayo, and chili sauce that come with Mianbaoxia increase satisfaction by allowing you to enjoy Mianbaoxia in more diverse flavors.
Gochu Yuringi is made with a generous amount of spicy peppers piled on top of fried chicken. If you eat the crispy fried chicken with Cheongyang peppers, the oily taste is neutralized and it is not greasy.
Pork Tangsuyuk is a mouth-watering treat with the combination of crispy fried pork and fruity sweet and sour pork sauce.
The signature menu item, Steak Truffle Jjajangmyeon, has a strong truffle flavor and is a fantastic combination of Jjajang sauce, noodles, steak, and a fried egg.
Overall, the price is a bit expensive, but the excellent taste of the food is...

Read moreI often come to Mutan whenever I get the chance! After hanging out with a friend, we were craving some Chinese food, so we decided to visit Mutan, our go-to Chinese restaurant. The peppers made it quite spicy, which was tough for me since I can’t handle spicy food, but my friend devoured it and even finished a bowl of rice. Next time, I’ll order the regular...
