Neungra Bapsang (North Korean Restaurant) — Restaurant in Seoul

The place is a little difficult to find, but fortunately a local pointed the way for me. The trick, when coming from the side of Dongnimmun, is to go up the incline on your left-hand side just before the tunnel.

Once inside, the staff is very kind and ordering is easy via a multi-language digital menu. The food is really nice and very reasonably priced. What a treat to be able to sample dishes from such a hidden corner...

Came here after seeing it on Somebody Feed Phil. Some of the other reviews said the noodle dishes were a little bland so I went for the “spicy” version which was definitely not too spicy but added great flavor. The dumplings were delightfully chewy. I thoroughly enjoyed both dishes and the sides as well! Staff doesn’t speak much English but you order on a tablet on the table with English translations that (mostly)...

Owner is a deflector from NK, very nice lady. She even came to greet us once seated in table. Extremely kind and family -like service, absolutely 10/10.

If you like to try North Korean cuisine without travelling there - this is your place. Order the Pyongyang noodles which is served cold. Its very mild flavoured so no need stress about spicyness.

Highly recommended for people who enjoy trying all cuisines...
