The manager is rude! Not kid-friendly location. It’s not clear you need to sign up and register through a QR code at the entrance, whether to dine in or take out. People were walking in without doing so, but we were the only group with kids. I don’t have a problem with following rules, but everyone should have to follow the same rules. The manager was manning the door and asked us to wait outside and register. We weren’t singled out, but again, there was no queue at the time, and some customers entered without having any number called and without being asked to register.

We did not plan to dine in initially because the registration process indicated there were over 30ppl in front of us. With takeout option, we were able to enter immediately; however, when we chose our food and ordered our drinks, we saw that there were many tables free. We pivoted to dining in and decided to also order their French toast as a result. This cafe, like most, have a cafeteria style service mode where you order and pay, and then choose a place to sit. My wife and kids chose the free space at the drink counter bar, but were told we didn’t register for the dine in option. The did allow us to sit at the tables outside. Luckily, it was not too cold an afternoon. The reason for the 2-star review is that many customers who were walk-ins did just walk-in and choose a free table with no reservation. These customers were not asked to leave and sit outside.

The food was better than good, but the cafe scene in Seoul is such that there are many options with equally good food/pastries/bread, but with much better service.

The manager working in the afternoon of Saturday, March 8 needs to take a course in customer service.

Other issues: no TP in women’s bathroom, no hand towel paper for communal...

Visited on 6/20, a rainy day. Unfortunately, we had a really unpleasant experience. We were waiting under their umbrella for our turn when the receptionist, with a rude attitude, told us to move and not stand in front of the store. We didn’t argue and simply waited across the street in front of another cafe.

Our turn came quickly, and while the space was nice and the food and drinks were decent, the reason I’m leaving a 1-star review is because of the poor customer service—especially from the receptionist.

It was our first time visiting, and we didn’t realize it was a self-service cafe where customers are expected to order, pick up, and clean up after themselves. Before we left, we made sure to wipe down the table and place everything neatly on the tray. However, we didn’t know we also needed to return the tray, and the return station wasn’t visible or clearly marked.

As we were leaving, the receptionist called my friend back and pointed at the table—again, with attitude. At first, I thought we forgot to pay or left something behind, but then I realized she was calling us back just to return the tray. Really? That’s how you treat customers?

We visited many places in Seoul and had great experiences everywhere else. Sadly, this was the only place where we felt disrespected, especially disappointing for such a trendy, modern cafe. We were honestly upset and just kept telling ourselves few times, “Don’t let her ruin our trip.”

At the very least, the cafe should put up a clear sign or train staff to politely inform customers if trays need to be returned—not embarrass them like that. The receptionist’s attitude was completely...

Bread was fresh, warm and tasty. I wouldn’t go back here or specifically seek it out though. It’s a lot of hassle just for bread.

a member of staff was brushing her teeth in full view of customers, in the restaurant. She was having a full conversation with her colleagues while still brushing her teeth. She then took a long nap with a blanket over her head, a few seats away from us. Strange and off putting. waitlist and queue system was confusing. Waited around an hour. Got an email to say our table was ready, got taken off the list 2 mins later (you need to be there within 2 mins or it expires, but I didn’t even get a notification until 2 mins later, so I couldn’t get there any sooner…), arrived at the place, was waiting for ages for someone to serve us, then somehow was no.5 in the waiting list again…finally got a table. service was slow and hard to come by. When you arrive, no one tells you what’s going on or how it works. When trying to order and pay, several staff members made eye contact but kept me waiting until one person finally...

got takeaway loaves of nut gorgonzola and salt bread as i didn't want to queue to dine in don't get the hype. i mean it wasn't bad, bread texture is really very soft and fluffy even after a few days, however the flavour is really really mild and nothing to write home about the nut gorgonzola was definitely the superior / stronger flavour, as they used good quality cheese and i liked the funky cheesy aroma. but i needed MORE taste salt bread should remain as buns and not loaves... as the crunchy base and butter taste was not pronounced and lost in the giant pillow of white unflavoured bread. this felt like eating plain bread. only purchase if u have a dip to go with it... which to me defeats the purpose because any salt bread worth its salt (pun intended) should taste good even on its own imho so i was v disappointed dine in french toast should be better i guess

got here around 11:20am and got in at around 11:45/11:50am! they gave us free corn brioche samples while waiting (there’s a catchable at the entrance, make sure you take a queue number!) i was greedy and ordered the pistachio French toast, a salted bread brioche, an iced americano and to go a corn brioche! LOVE LOVE THE salted bread brioche and I ordered a avocado dill cream cheese to go with it!! loveeeeeee but tbh…the pistachio french toast is a little bit too heavy or one flavour iykwim :P it gets a little bit 😐🥴 after a while…maybe share it…i was too greedy and thought i could eat it all on my own but im halfway thru and i m like 🤢 had to pack 3/4 of my salt bread back cos I couldn’t finish it here but THE AMBIENCE IS LOVELY

If you ever go to Seoul, this place is a must go places for you! Please don't miss out the signature French Toast, this is the best texture I have ever had for real. And for surely go with their signature cream latte, the cream layer is just like those thicken cheese foam, super tasty also! Its very easily to be found at SeongSu, its less than 10 mins from the Seong Su Station. Highly recommend! And try to go earlier, u don't really hv to wait long, and when u r there, just line up via their machine for online ticketing at the front door, if you have the catch table app, you can see how many table in front of you, just feel free to go walk around while waiting! I must go back again whenever I am back to Seoul! Love it!
