Just horrible/disgusting Starbucks, they tempered with my drink!;! I went here twice, first time was OK but they did give me slightly hard time because it was take away, so I requested paper cup, which they frown on!! I came here next morning as it was close to the Gangnam Prugio City, and it was take away, it was in the Morning of April 4th, two guys were making the drinks and then I sat down and asking this nice Korean girl the direction/location as I needed to order Taxi, unfortunately, everything is in Korean, I couldn't understand anything on the map, but this person was really helpful!; But then the Starbucks employee abruptly told me to leave because I had the drink for take away, what the hell, really rude, if they are that "environmental" stop eating meat, because so much natural resources, and deforestation, etc is required for animal agriculture, and also why are you in the business, if you frown upon on customers using paper cups, etc but anyway, they apparently tempered with my chai latte because as soon as I left, I started experiencing severe cramps and digestive issues, and I haven't eaten anything else before this and I was feeling fine before the drink!! And, it was take away that they tempered with my drink, possibly spat in it or something or it was due to racism because I was the only foreigner there and I am not White either, as I could tell South Korean aren't as friendly as Japanese and many people were giving me the looks and it was weird experience and their obsession with being rude if you request take away is horrendous! From the moment we walked in, everything felt a notch above what youโd typically expect from a coffee chain. The atmosphere was calm and refined, with everything immaculately clean and thoughtfully arranged. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentiveโthereโs a real sense of courtesy and care in the way they interact with guests.
One detail that stood out was the use of actual china instead of paper cups, which added a touch of elegance and made the whole experience feel more relaxed and intentional. We ordered a cappuccino with oat milk, which was perfectly balanced and smooth. Alongside it, we enjoyed a castle cake, cheesecake, and an egg sandwichโeach one delicious and beautifully presented.
It wasnโt just a coffee stop; it felt more like a quiet, refreshing pause in the day. Highly recommend if youโre in the area and want to enjoy a more refined take on your usual...
