Checked into the Mondrian and we were starving from traveling all day without a proper meal. Looked up a few restaurants inside the Mondrian and they all seemed overpriced for what it was. But, just across the street there was a homey restaurant with a similar name as my name so what could go wrong? We ordered a bunch of dishes (mung bean pancake, bulgogi jungol, dolsot bibimbap, buckwheat noodles. We asked for the eggs to be separated to accommodate my sonโs allergies and everything tasted so good, even for my picky son. The only thing was that they gave us a small pot but didnโt explain what it was. I think it may have been the broth that was supposed to go with the noodles. But, I ate it without it since I didnโt know what it was and the noodles still tasted good. Then, the lady took it away and thatโs when I noticed I may have missed putting the broth to my noodles (or whatever it was for!) and now the curiosity is going to...

The menu is small, which to me is a good thing. And the clientele is a mix of salarymen and cool kids. Again another bonus. The beef bowl I had was PERFECT for a chilly day. We got some of the crowd favorites: pig's feet, as well as cold noodles. ์กฑ๋ฐ was wonderful, great with any side dish, wrapped in leaf. Cold noodles were very tasty as well!
Definitely bring friends so you can order more dishes and try classics like Bulgogi, pancake, and others... portions are very reasonable, so...
