Jolly Roger — Restaurant in Alcúdia

This is my 10th year visiting The Jolly Roger. I’ve never felt compelled to write a review before,because so many people have written so many positive genuine reviews about this establishment,but after I read a review from some clown who calls himself Ringleader,I just couldn’t hold back. This bar/restaurant is the only reason I visit Alcudia every year. The food is 1st class,I can personally recommend the fish and chips served on a Friday evening. Throughout the week,they have many special offers,which include steak,chicken which are all freshly cooked. I can’t recommend the T bone steak highly enough. The standard of food cooked and presented is what you would get in any 5 star restaurant and pay 3 times the cost for. The staff are very friendly and make you feel most welcome. Nothing is to much trouble. If you need any local Info they will point you in the right direction. Sunday’s they have rockband by the pool. Live band playing music from 3pm and it’s free. I had the mix grill. The lamb chop was a bone with no meat on it, the sausage was one of the worst sausages I have ever had in my life (more sawdust than meat I suspect). Girlfriend had a T-bone steak which was not great either at least half inedible as incredibly fatty and gristly.both paid extra for pepper sauce which was bland and didn’t taste peppery at all.

None of the food we had was cheap we had thought we were paying over the odds one order to get a really good meal .instead it turned out we were paying extortionate prices for well below average food.

Not a great choice of beers, not a great service, not good prices, not good food ; nothing good to say about this pub/restaurant. I recommend not not...

Was recommended to go here so we did. It was fairly busy but only 2 members of staff serving so took ages to get served. As for the food well it was cold, disappointing, small portions and not good at all. The cost was also higher than it was worth.
