Nothing special, completely mediocre. There is not enough choice on the menu. Usually when we go to a new place, we like to try several (many) things. The waiter explained that what we ordered would be too much food for 2 people and stopped us. Let us decide what and how much too eat IF we are the guests and we pay! The portions are not large at all. All food was salty. No vegetables or other side dishes. The chips were pure oil and tasted rancid. It is the only side dish that can be ordered, bread is the other option. The toilet opens directly INTO the restaurant, without a divider. Everyone leaves the door open, very disgusting and incomprehensible. The waiters are running, very busy but not paying attention… The tuna tartar has an interesting flavor, delicious. The other dishes can be made in practically any mid-range restaurant. Overall a disappointment. Not even...

Fantastic service. English speaking staff. The food is exquisite. Definitely try a local Alicantian dish, Pericana. Salty fish, prepared in a traditional way, paired with tomatoes and lashings of olive oil to mop up with the excellent bread. Burrata, that I suspect was made in house, was divine, a fantastic, slightly mature flavour, and gloriously creamy! Avocado, salad leaves, and a homemade pesto finished the dish perfectly. Reasonably priced. Excellent value, certainly. Our waiter couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Particularly as our Spanish is limited and had no idea what we were ordering! Worth a return...

I ordered the lunch menu for 14.5.

I got black spaghetti with prawns, and they served me inconsistently cooked pasta (half of it must've been swimming in the pan for a while) with FOUR minuscule curled up prawns.

I also ordered a tuna soup (marmitaka), which was ok, but really something I'd cook myself at home on a lazy weekday, not something I'd pay someone to cook for me.

To the owner, please, be consistent with your branding. I was drawn by the pictures of giant prawns on your profile. If you can't afford to serve them at 14.5, raise your prices. Don't make people leave feeling cheated, cause they...
