Amazing experience and food, the service is incredible and we will definitely be returning, there are many more dishes on the menu we would like to try. We walked in without reservation on a Wednesday lunch time and chose to eat at the bar downstairs, I think you should book though if you can because it’s a popular spot with local people of Alicante as well as visitors like us. It got very busy, but it was not too crowded and we were certainly not rushed. The atmosphere downstairs is great if you want to experience the bustle of a busy bar and a feast for your eyes, seeing the food prepared, coming out to tables and what fellow diners are eating The food is great value considering the service, wine and drinks are also very reasonable. Great food and amazing service. Would give this 10 stars if I could.
The menu was only in Spanish but our waiter went above and beyond to communicate with us in English.
It was very busy with locals coming in and waiting but we luckily turned up just at opening when there was a queue of locals already waiting outside.
The food looked amazingly fresh and tasted even better. I’ve had standard coquettes before but this place served the best I’ve ever had! The seafood was so fresh and cooked to order.
Even the beer was chilled and poured to perfection.
To finish off we were served one of the smoothest cafe con leche and chocolates, which was a nice way to end lunch.
