Walking by I assumed this was a Spanish equivalent of a local/rustic run down pub, but walking in and eating there it was quite a bit finer than expected. (I need to specify; it was not at all expensive. It was very fairly priced. As a non native it was startlingly so) The food was delicious (my partner who has on multiple occasions mentioned how he does not like calamari or olives tried to steal my share of both at this place). We had the mixed fried dishes and it was so good! I also had an amazing glass (or, ok, two) of a Ribera del Duero. Our waiters did now all speak English, but they were all amazing and service minded (and we even received some delicious free samples of their dessert).
Had I more days to spend in this city: I would come back...
