This is the third time I've visited this place. Last time I saved up my experience and thought I should give it a chance.

Service - terribly disorganized waiters. They lose, forget, bring not what you ordered. It's weird. After all, management should spend time on this and teach employees! Interior and atmosphere - everything is very cool here! I like the location and the interior. Everything as it should be in cool coffee shops.

Coffee - out of my three visits, they only once asked about my coffee roasting preferences. By my expectations of a coffee shop format - this should always be the case. Today they brought me a very sour Americano. It wasn't to my taste.

Food - today I ordered a croissant with cheese and sausage. On the photo you can see the violation of the scale of ingredients. It's impossible to get your hands on it. And I wish I could take the croissant in my hands and eat it. This is an ill-conceived dish, managers, try it for yourself! The croissant is so soaked in butter that it is dripping off of it. And to all this comes a tiny napkin, which is not enough for so much butter in the dish.

Dear managers, I would like to wish you a pleasant appetite and wish you to test the service and dishes in your...

This café lives up to its name when it comes to interior design, but delivers excellent coffee all the way, accompanied by good brunch and cake options.

When you enter Madness the size of the place is deceiving. Once you go past the entry area and oversized bar you will find almost a labyrinth of nooks and rooms to sit in. All furnished in what can only be described as the results of a mad flea market shopping spree. Plenty of places to sit and work.

The service isn’t the fastest, but fitting to the overall vibe of the place as a hangout, while being friendly and competent.

The brunch and cake options are abundant, and the prices very fair, esp. when taking one of their menus.

The coffees and hot beverages is were Madness delivers excellence. Be it from a comprehensive latte menu with turmeric, spirulina, matcha and beetroot all making an appearance, to the excellent caffeinated options. The barista skills are spot on as are the speciality coffee roasts which you can choose from. Your cappuccino or flat white will be a delight, as will also the wide range of third wave coffee brewing options and the selection of kombuchas.

The best place in Alicante to get your caffeine fix if you are a...

I have very mixed feelings about this place. The food for sure was very good - no remarks there. The service though…there was one young guy who did a fantastic job, while the ladies were not too friendly. Their menu is quite big so the choice is not easy, I felt rushed with my decision and the lady instead of being helpful and kind was unhappy that I can’t decide and I ask questions. Later on, my unfinished smoothie was taken away without asking me whether I finished. I can’t believe they would take away sth which is clearly still in the glass! Later on they give it back to me upon request, but honestly how can I know it was mine and that they didn’t start cleaning it or where they put it after taking it out from me. A normal thing would be to rather offer to take it away from the bill or make a new one rather than brining it back after 10 minutes. Very weird. I overheard how others were served and honestly if sb treated me like this, I would also be disappointed. This makes me think - ok, it wasn’t only towards me. Will I visit this place again? Despite great food no, as in Alicante you can find places with both super tasty food and...

An incredible selection of coffee drinks, pastries, and more. The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting. Whether you’re into trying something new or just want a classic like an Americano, cappuccino, or croissant – you’ll find both here. Everything we tried was delicious. My carrot cake was especially moist and full of flavor. The pistachio mocha was also excellent – rich, balanced, and a bit different. The café is centrally located and easy to reach on foot, tucked away in one of those charming little alleyways typical of Alicante. Prices are absolutely fair, especially considering the high quality of the food and drinks. There are a few indoor and outdoor seats, so it’s worth going at a quieter time if you want to sit and relax. The staff is very friendly and speaks both Spanish and English, which makes the experience even more comfortable. Highly recommended for coffee lovers and anyone looking for a cozy, quality spot to take a break.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this place! We had breakfast here twice and had an opportunity to fall in love with it twice. The interior is full of interesting details: old coffee machines, hairdryers you can see only in the movies, tables made out of old furniture and electronic pieces. The best part was our coffee experience. Our favourite one was with Guatemala coffee beans. The food was good too. My boyfriend enjoyed the Benedict eggs with salmon and I liked the toast „vegetal“ (with smashed avocado, carrots, tomatoes). The only disappointing dish was the toast with fruits and nutella. It had only one type of fruit and was missing some nice details like other dishes. Overall, it’s a good place for breakfast or to grab a coffee to go.

We got a chai latte and a lemon and poppyseed sponge cake. The sponge cake actually came like this, like someone took a bite out of it. We asked was this the portion and they said yes. €3.75 for this. The chai latte was also not hot, it was moderate temp. This place is very touch and go sometimes it can be lovely and other times very disappointing. We got the sandwiches here another day and the vegan one is really lovely and filling but the scrambled egg one comes cold which is a bit disappointing. The coffee is lovely here but they don’t know how to do iced drinks they always serve them hot with ice in a separate cup. Like I said 50/50 place good space but doesn’t always satisfy
