We had a really disappointing experience here, especially considering it was our last day on holiday. A male waiter with glasses completely ignored us when we arrived, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. After waiting, we seated ourselves and moved two small tables together so we could all sit together. Instead of welcoming us or offering help, he just stood there giving us dirty looks.

When he finally approached us, he rudely told us we weren’t allowed to sit like that and didn’t assist in moving the tables back. Only two out of five in our group were eating, and despite plenty of free tables, he made an uncalled-for comment suggesting we “go to the bar up the street,” clearly hinting that we weren’t welcome.

He also didn’t seem to understand the obvious, that we wanted to sit together as a group. After taking our order, he never returned to our table and continued giving us looks while we ate. The food itself was mediocre, nothing to write home about.
