After a long flight, I stumbled upon NOMAD Alicante at 10 PM, seeking some much-needed comfort food. The ambiance of the place was immediately welcoming – simple, friendly, and intimate, with just a few tables and a nice buzz. I chose a high table, settling into the cozy atmosphere.

The service was exceptional from the get-go. The waitress was not only super friendly but also very knowledgeable, effortlessly guiding me through the menu. What I particularly liked was the concept of the ever-changing menu, written on a chalkboard, adding a dynamic and fresh touch to the dining experience.

For my meal, I chose a pintxo with sardines and a burrata salad. Both dishes were served promptly, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. The aroma was enticing, and the taste did not disappoint. Every bite was a testament to the chef's passion and dedication to their craft. The flavors were balanced, fresh, and absolutely delightful.

A complimentary basket of bread was a thoughtful touch, complementing my meal perfectly. To go with it, I opted for a 'cerveza sin' - a non-alcoholic beer that was refreshing and light.

The price, at 17 euros including tip, felt justified for the quality of food and the overall experience. It wasn't cheap, but it was certainly affordable, especially considering the love and attention evident in every aspect of the meal.

NOMAD Alicante is a gem that offers more than just food – it offers an experience, a feeling of being cared for, and a taste of culinary passion. I am already looking forward to...

I always try and leave a review for the best restaurant I've been to on a holiday... But this went beyond that. We agreed that this was probably the best food we've had in our many visits to Spain.

The food was original, all the flavours went together perfectly, there was a real emphasis on fresh in-season produce (so many places in Spain rely only on the meat) and the prices were reasonable.

The hosts here are wonderful and I loved the way they organised everything, bringing out each dish at just the right pace. They even did us a half-portion of the truffle potatoes on the basis that we were ordering too much - and they got that just right. The artichoke flower was particularly special (see photo) - we'd never had anything like it.

I think we'd genuinely consider coming back to Alicante again just to go to Nomad - so glad we made the effort to walk just that short distance away from the touristy places in the old town - do not...

Oh wow. It’s hard to describe in words just how fantastic this restaurant is. The front of the restaurant is small and you could easily pass it without giving it a second thought, but on entering you are greeted by very friendly staff and the interior and atmosphere is just perfect. The menu has just the right amount of choices, and each dish is absolutely superb. The freshness, flavours and portion sizes are perfect. The service from the staff is 5 stars and the way each dish is served at the right pace adds to the perfect experience.

I almost didn’t want to write this review as I want to keep this place a secret!!

Unfortunately I haven’t got any photos as we were so overwhelmed by the quality of each dish we forgot to take any!

I travel extensively and this is some of the best and freshest food I’ve had in...

Food was great, wouldn't call them the best, but tasty enough for the price. We got 4 tapas to share for 2. And it was enough food, maybe you could fit in 2 more, but that's it. Aubergine and pepper dish, was cold and we were expecting it to be served hot, also no Aubergine to be seen? so maybe skip that one. Meatballs (only warm meat option on the menu) was 3 small Meatballs so if I were to go back would order one per person rather than to share, but it was tasty and the truffle potatoes were enough for 2 to share. Service was good, waiters were helpful and pleasant. Atmosphere cosy and inviting. I would suggest to book a table because after we arrived some people were waiting in queue to dine there. Would recommend for sure.
