This is a review to help vegans and vegetarians. The place is nice and has quite a few plant-based options, but you should take care when going there. The whole thing works with all kinds of sushi and foods coming magically through this moving belt: you take what you like and eat right away. But there's a catch: vegan options never come. Avocado makis aren't the preferred choice of most people paying premium to eat salmon, so the staff don't put many on the belt. Even if you are lucky and spot a little something that you might be able to eat, there's no labeling or any sort of confirmation telling you that is a plant-based option. So you are left with ordering to the waiters, but they are not trained to serve people that way. This is a sushi belt kind of place and they are not happy nor equipped to deal with people ordering à la carte. Our waitress was super kind, but she forgot our orders twice and when we were paying she said very seriously: "we are not an à la carte place". In the end we ate very well, in quantity, food was good, place was nice, but it was a bit stressful, we felt like we were asking the staff favors and spent almost 3 hours inside because our orders often took 30 minutes.
TL;DR: place is nice but they are not prepared to serve vegans and...
Read moreTayrio Kaiten is such a fun place to grab sushi in Alicante! The conveyor belt setup makes the whole experience interactive, you just sit back and grab whatever looks good as it rolls by. Sushi rolls, appetizers, salads, deserts, fruits and more. It’s a great way to try lots of different things without having to commit to big portions.
The sushi is pretty good, not the absolute best, but it’s fresh, tasty, and satisfying, especially for an all-you-can-eat place. The small portions make it easy to sample a bit of everything, which is part of the fun.
The service is friendly and efficient, and the Japanese-style decor adds a nice touch to the whole vibe. We paid about 22 euros per person, and it was worth it, we had so much to try and enjoy. Overall, it’s a relaxed, casual spot that’s perfect for a fun night out with friends, a casual date, or even a solo sushi fix. Definitely worth checking out if you’re...

Whether you're craving classic nigiri, creative rolls, or something more adventurous, there’s something for every palate.
