Ateneo Cómics — Local services in Alicante

This is the best comic shop I have found in Spain. I had to revisit it without my family (we where on holiday) to be able to see it all. Here you will not find only new comics, they also have a lot of used comics for okay prices. There is even a small section with American comics. I found my precious Conan comics and was very happy. Seemed like a good shop with a lot of nice items, but the cashier very aggressively accused my friend of stealing a pin after they changed their mind and put it back on the rack, claiming she 'knew we stole it' because she 'saw it'. Estamos hablando posiblemente de una de las mejores librerias especializadas sino la mejor a nivel nacional. No hay muchas que puedan presumir de un fondo de almacen como el de Ateneo y lo digo muy en serio. Comic Europeo, Americano, japones, antiguo, sección de juegos, libros etc... todo ello unido a un personal curtidisimo con varias décadas de experiencia que entiende lo que hace sobradamente. Jesus y Consuelo empezaron con un jovencisimo Manolo hace ya tanto que el que firma ni se acuerda. Fernando, Mamen y Felix solamente lo hicieron mas espectacular con el tiempo. Diria que Ateneo es un lugar de visita obligatoria si te gusta el mundo del comic o los juegos tanto de mesa como narrativos.
