Good service, and a waiter was friendly and polite. Average taste with a fairly predictable flavor. Good food presentation. Pulp Horno, the octopus dish, was 19.50 Euros, which I thought very expensive considering the portion and the quality. Maybe, it was my mistake that I just pointed at the octopus at the bar counter without knowing the price and the side dishes served together (just onions and cheese) Gambas Ajillo was reasonably priced at 7.50 Euros.

Hicimos reserva el mismo día, viernes, por la mañana, para comer 3 adultos, de lo contrario no encuentras nada a la hora de comer, lo tienen siempre todo completo, tanto el comedor (es pequeño) como la terraza exterior. Ofrecen un menú diario por 12 €/persona que está francamente bien por su relación calidad/precio. Entra 1 bebida, pan con allioli, 2 platos y postre o café. Se puede elegir tanto del 1r plato como del principal otras 4 ó 5 opciones que están en la carta. Buen servicio. Recomendable. En nuestra última ocasión pedimos de entrantes, 1 ensalada de Verduras y 2 de potaje Vigilia con rosquilla de ensaladilla rusa, de principal, 1 de pollo al limón, 1 pescado a la plancha y 1 cordón Blue. ambos con guarnición de verduras. Postre, manzana asada, flan de turrón y natillas. Ubicado en el llamado El Barrio, que es donde están la mayoría de los locales de restauración de Alicante.

The food was excellent, fish was cooked very good .when we sit the waiter didn’t welcome us, we had to ask to clean our table and because my partner is mix race, he talk just with me but with him, no smile, and no contact eyes. At the beginning great impression - good food and friendly staff. When it came to paying we left 50€ banknote to pay 32€. The waiter didn't give the change. When I politely asked for it, the waiter suddenly stopped understanding English at all. Thanks to the help of the other guests we got the money back. Never again did we have such a situation in the restaurants that we visited during next few days in Spain. The waiters never assumed the tips...
