Restaurante Sushi Lin — Restaurant in Almeria

Went here on my last night in Almeria upon the recommendation of my friends who are local. Overall, it was a good experience as I prefer the buffet to table format and they had "robots" that would deliver some of your order. Some food items took longer to get to our table but wasn't too sure what the hold up was. I think value for money is pretty good considering that majority of the menu is seafood. I did like most of my food although the fried rice was a tad oily. Good wings. I don't eat sashmi or the like but I did like the options I went for. Sushi with cooked meat was alright. I feel like the key thing with buffet to table is that cooked food needs to be piping hot once it reaches your table and this wasn't always consistent. Dessert menu was OK but I was expecting a bit more Spanish style desserts. I did like my dessert. Location is a bit out of the way and street parking can be difficult to find if it's busy. I really like the ordering method - you need to fill in the order sheet and then your food arrives as it is ready. The seating and atmosphere...

Absolut amazing, not the typical Asian buffet. The quality of all is sooo… good. Such a nice place to be, to do your lunch or dinner. There Service so friendly and competent, you doesn’t watch much times, explaining the things in a so patiently way. The food delivery with the funny robot coming in a fast way to your table.It’s not impersonal, because the waitress (in person ) all time asking what you need. The restaurant interiors are so knowing decided, very beautiful. You don’t feel like in these typically chines buffet restaurants. I doesn’t ! It’s so modern and cute. Otro buffet más en Almería. El precio es algo más elevado. En principio los viernes noche, fines de semana y festivos pagas algo más pero tienes algunos platos que sólo están esos días y que merecen la pena. El truco está en que de esos platos sólo puedes pedir uno por persona. Y suelen ser más caros o especiales. El personal es amable. Está todo muy limpio. Cuáles son los peros? Pues primero el sushi va muy lento tanto que en nuestro caso no lo trajeron una hora casi después de perdir. Y cuando ya habíamos comido. Te penalizan por cada plato que no comas 2€, lo cual veo bien pq hay mucho abuso y no debe tirar comida. Pero claro si tardas una hora en servir puede ser que yo haya repetido o que ya no tenga hambre. El sushi no está malo, pero tampoco es nada espectacular. En nuestro caso un domingo dos personas con 2 cervezas y un agua salimos por 53€. El postre es otro pero aún incluido ni lo pedimos, primero pq no nos entraba mucho más y segundo porque no nos gustaba lo que había, flan con nata, fruta de temporada ( en este caso sandia), o una fruta de ellos en almíbar. Se hecha de menos y más en verano un helado de esos básicos de tarrina. Además a diferencia de otros buffet sólo incluye un postre. Tienen helados y con buena pinta pero pagando y ya me parece una pasada pagar casi 30€ entonces por persona cuando por eso precio vas a un restaurente y comes mejor. Mi conclusión es que hay platos que si merecen la pena y que con cuatro de esos ya has pagado el buffet, que todo el mundo debería probarlo para opinar. Si se come poco mejor no ir. Y como conclusión final recalco que si se quiere sushi es mejor ir a comer sushi y si se quiere comida china pues ir a un chino. Al final por lo q nosotros hemos pagado hubiéramos comido dos días en diferentes sitios ese tipo de comida. La decoración es preciosa. Y todo...
