Excellent place, both the ambience and the food. Plus one of the very very few places open in Aracena on a Tuesday night don't believe the Google opening hours for the town's restaurants. Juan Carlos our waiter spoke both English and Spanish for us, and suggested fabulous, filling dishes to share. Ibérico ham plus cheese to start, followed by the bull's tail meatballs (tender chunks rather than minced) with migas and local setas, and an off-menu slow-roasted fall-off-the-bone lamb shoulder with Pedro Ximenez sauce for three, and a chocolate ganache dessert. Exquisite! Every single thing we had was out of this world. I have eaten in great restaurants all around the world. This is by far one of my favorites! Every single things was delicious. Special mention to mushrooms they have, they are extremely tasty! And don’t go anywhere else for desert, they are homemade and they are scrumptious. The service was amazing! This is a family restaurant with local products from their own farms. The family was lo nice, polite, welcoming… they made us feel like we were part of the family. I loved the decoration. They were fast. Everything was so clean! Special events, kids, grownups, dates, friends, family reunions… they can do anything! I just wished I could live closer to...

TREMENDA DECEPCIÓN. Todas las veces que hemos estado en Aracena hemos comido aquí. Hoy, previa reserva, hemos llegado a comer a las dos y cinco (10 minutos antes) y hemos sido los primeros comensales del salón interior y los primeros a los que le han tomado la comanda. Les han servido comida a las restantes 7 mesas indistintamente antes que a nosotros. Sólo servía un camarero así que no había lugar a confusión (excepto alguna bebida que la servía otro). Hemos tenido que reclamarle un par de veces porque era bochornoso. Nos sirvieron inicialmente un entrante y después los platos principales por intervalos, de modo que cuando trajeron los últimos algunos habían terminado ya. Y el segundo entrante una vez estaban llegando los platos principales. En ningún momento nos han ofrecido ninguna explicación ni disculpa, sólo un breve “perdón por la tardanza” al final. Hemos tenido que esperar la cuenta otros diez minutos al menos. En total dos horas solo para tomar dos entrantes de poca elaboración y un plato principal mientras las demás mesas se iban quedando vacías. No han tenido el detalle de ofrecernos ni un café, aunque probablemente no lo hubiésemos tomado debido al trato recibido. Y eso que hemos sido discretísimos y era para haber protestado enérgicamente delante de los demás clientes. Por cierto, me recomendaron un tartar de atún cuyos trozos venían congelados. Del resto no había nada especialmente bueno ni malo. Eso sí, en una de las mesas había unos críticos o seguramente ”influencers” a los que estaban tratando exquisitamente mientras documentaban gráficamente su “post”.
