Chicago's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Arona

The food was nice & of good portions when we eventually received it, the service however was appalling, not enough staff to cope with the amount of customers. The few staff were sullen, unfriendly & partially rude! Our drinks were almost through on the table when we eventually got them. It took over 1.5 hours from when we first sat down until we received our food, we were a party of 4, who decided quickly what we’d like, so didn’t sit there for ages pouring over the menu. So the rest of the evening was taken from us due to waiting for our food for so long. There looked to be only 1 food waitress on duty the others were just drink waiters/waitresses. I had almost gone past eating as it had taken so long. Other tables felt the same & one family asked twice to order & by the time they received their food their child was asleep & didn’t hardly eat anything. The owner called in & served some food himself. All in all not an enjoyable visit & we will not be returning which is a shame as we had been so looking forward to going for 3 years as it had been fully booked on...

Food was fantastic, awesome meal sizes and the taste was amazing. However unfortunately the staff in the evening let the entire place down.

We went on 2 seperate evenings, on the first evening the staff were kind of off with us but we brushed it off as maybe they are just busy as there was a football game on so they had lots of orders to deal with. No big deal the food was great so we were happy.

The second night we came was absolutely horrendous, staff were straight up rude and clearly didn't want us there.

Made us feel like we should apologise for daring to bring kids for dinner to a sports bar but like we say, the food was really good so that's why we came back.

The staff were standoffish right off the bat and clearly annoyed we were there, we had to practically beg for our bill at the end also.

All in all the experience ruined our last meal on our holiday and needless to say even though the food really is good we won't be coming back here on future holidays. Don't come here for a family meal, just come here if your plan is to order booze...

Me and my partner went on a Sunday through the day to have drinks and watch the food, staff were great, friendly and welcoming, and the drinks were fab. We then decide to go a few nights later for our dinner,, and this is where it took a turn. We were approached by a female member of staff who looked like she's previously been some kind of body builder, rough as toast, we were greeted with 'yes'... my partner started to order our food, she was so rude I nearly got up n walked out. She was sniggering, fat shaming him by rubbing her own belly, telling him he shoukd cut back and said something along the lines of 'ya need to just slow down and take a breath, I know ya might be hungry but there's just no need'... now my boyfriend has severe social anxiety and is autistic so he does tend to talk fast. so this had me absolutely raging, think she coukd tell because she tried to backtrack n make nice small talk but nahhh!
